(fade using main-chords) ______________________________________________________________________________ From: "Zach Carter" Hey, here's my version of "Unsatisfied." I know there's a couple different versions already up, but they don't sound quite right to me. Think this might be Westerberg's finest moment as a songwriter, so I thought I'd send this in. Here's what I came up with. Chords: Not sure on the names, here's what they are (written EADGBe) Fsus2: xx3013 Fsus2/E: xx2013 G: 320003 D7: xx0212 F: xx3211 G7: 320001 Intro: Fsus2 Fsus2/E G e|-3-3-------3-----|-3-3------3-----|-3-3------3-----| B|-1---1-------1---|-1---1------1---|-0---0------0---| G|-0-----0-------0-|-0-----0------0-|-0-----0------0-| D|-3-------3-------|-2-------2------|-0--------------| A|-----------------|----------------|-2--------------| E|-----------------|----------------|-3--------------| Fsus2 Fsus2/E D7 e|-3-3-------3-----R M |-3-3-------3-----|-2-2-------------R M B|-1---1-------1---E E |-1---1-------1---|-1---1---3-1-----E E G|-0-----0-------0-P A |-0-----0-------0-|-2-----2-----2---P A D|-3-------3-------E S |-2-------2-------|-0-------------0-E S A|-----------------A U |-----------------|-----------------A U E|-----------------T R |-----------------|-----------------T R E E F F G7 e|-1-1-------------|-1-1-------------|-1-1-----1-0-----| B|-1---1---3-1-----|-1---1---3-1-----|-0---0-------0---| G|-2-----2-----2---|-2-----2-----2---|-0-----0-------0-| D|-3-------------3-|-3-------------3-|-0---------------| A|-----------------|-----------------|-2---------------| E|-----------------|-----------------|-3---------------| F G7 F e|-1-1-------------|-1-1-----1-0-----|-1-1-------------| B|-1---1---3-1-----|-0---0-------0---|-1---1---3-1-----| G|-2-----2-----2---|-0-----0-------0-|-2-----2-----2---| D|-3-------------3-|-0---------------|-3-------------3-| A|-----------------|-2---------------|-----------------| Dm Em F G A e|--1----------0-----|------1----------3-----|-0-| B|----3----------0---|--------1----------0---|-2-| G|------2----------0-|----------2----------0-|-2-| D|-0-----------------|----3------------------|-2-| A|-------------------|-----------------------|-0-| E|------------0------|---------------3-------|---| Taa! (Just strum chords here) |Fsus2| |Fsus2/E| |G| |Fsus2| |Fsus2| |Fsus2| |Fsus2/E| |D7| |D7| Chorus: Fsus2 Fsus2/E G Look me in the eye and tell me Fsus2 That I'm satisfied Fsus2 Fsus2/E D7 D7 Now are you satisfied Verse: F F And so it goes so G7 F slowly on F F Everything I've ever wanted G7 F Tell me what's wrong That's pretty much it. I think he sometimes hammers onto an A on the high E on the change from G to Fsus2. Hammer from the C onto the D on the B string a few times where it's marked D7 in the chorus. Zach __________________________________________________________________________ From: "collie douglaesh" Okay here is a round about way of me explainin how to play "Unsatisfied" The opening chord progression moves round the first 5 chords with your pinky (little finger) firmly glued to the 3rd fret of the high E string. The first 6 chords ending on the D make up the basis for the main part of the song, apart from the two bridge/breaks. As you may see when I refer to F/G the G refers to the pinky once again. F/G, C/G, G (holding the first fret on the B as well as the 3rd on the high E) F/G (Sliding down this shape from g to the f) F/G, EM/G, D, Dm F (open e string) G7, F, G7, F Dm, Em, F(open E string), G, A These are the chord shapes. F/G C/G G/F - F/G Em/G D - F(open) G7 E 3 3 3 5 3 3 2 0 1/0 B 1 1 1 3 1 1 3 1/3/0 0 G 2 0 0 4 2 0 2 2 0 D 3 2 x 5 3 x 0 3 x A x 3 2 x x 2/3 x x 2 E x x 3 x x 0 x x 3 The verse chord progression is as above but only as far as the D then it repeats itself. 1st bridge is Dm, G, Dm, G, Dm, Em, F, Em, G, A 2nd Bridge is Am, C, D. And thats it. Except for the colourations Bob stinson adds over the rhythm P.S any mistakes are due to I ain't got a guitar here at the moment.
